The Boston Public Library provides access to a wide variety of Electronic Resources for research.  In order to access these you will need to create a BPL E-Card (which is available to all Massachusetts residents).

The Gale in Context Database  - Is particularly useful for a lot of High School student research

The Gale Literature Resource Center  - Gale is an example of a great resource available through the Essex Library

 

The Gale Opposing Viewpoints Series - Is another great resource, especially for Social Studies research projects.
